Software Engineer at One Door

Michael Obremski has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael began their career as a Visitor Experience Associate at the Rubin Museum of Art in 2011 and later took on roles as a Full-time Guide and Coordinator of Adult and Academic Programs. In 2014, they joined Match Education as a Tutor and Teacher's Assistant before transitioning to a role as a Bookseller at The Harvard Coop Bookstore in 2015. In 2016, they attended Launch Academy, Inc, a coding bootcamp, where they became a Ruby on Rails Apprentice. After completing the bootcamp, they joined One Door as an Automation Intern and later advanced to the positions of Junior QA Engineer, QA Engineer, and Jr Software Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at One Door.

Michael Obremski obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Comparative Literature at Brown University from 2003 to 2007. Michael then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theater Studies with a focus on Acting at Brown University from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as Learning SQL Programming, Python Object-Oriented Programming, SQL Essential Training, and ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Testing. Furthermore, they received a Preliminary Certification in English 8-12 from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in March 2014. In 2006, they briefly studied Language Interpretation and Translation at Université Lumière Lyon 2, although no degree was specified for this period.
