Corporate Communications Manager at One Energy

Hank Doster has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Hank started their career in 2009 as a Landscaper/Hardscaper at USA Lawn & Landscape, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they joined Bowling Green State University as a Visual Media Assistant for the Office of Campus Activities, where they produced and edited videos/photos and developed web/print materials. Hank also supported other organizations with event planning. Later in 2014, they became a Technology Assistant for the Division of Student Affairs, collaborating with the marketing department and designing digital/print marketing materials.

In 2015, Hank joined Lock One Productions as a Graphic Designer/Production Assistant/Editor, where they led company branding, video production/post-production, and provided support for national film production companies. Hank worked on commercials for Fortune 500 companies and produced/edited portions of the art documentary "Activismo: Art and Dissidence in Cuba."

In 2016, they started working at One Energy. Hank initially served as a Media Coordinator, managing video production, company photography, website maintenance, and social media content creation. Hank developed and maintained the company's intranet website, establishing a new channel of internal communication. Hank also oversaw the installation of signage for a new office building.

In 2018, Hank transitioned to the role of Multimedia Design Specialist at One Energy. In this position, they delivered media to national and global organizations, created marketing materials, and monitored the company's websites. Hank supported PBS NOVA with drone footage for the Emmy-nominated documentary "Decoding the Weather Machine" and had their photo featured on the cover of the 2018 Distributed Wind Energy Report by the Department of Energy.

From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Multimedia Design Manager at One Energy, taking on the majority of the Storytelling team's responsibilities after the departure of the department head. Hank pioneered the direction, design, and delivery of all media and marketing materials for the company. Hank also led the company's relationship with a national PR firm, enhancing brand awareness through publications, interviews, and other media opportunities with the CEO.

Throughout their career, Hank has demonstrated expertise in multimedia design, video production, branding, and marketing.

Hank Doster has a strong education background in visual communication technology and commercial art. Hank obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Visual Communication Technology from Bowling Green State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Commercial Art at Owens Community College from 2009 to 2013.

Additionally, Hank has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and qualifications. In September 2019, they received a Remote Pilot Certificate to Fly Drones Commercially from the Federal Aviation Administration. Furthermore, in November 2016, they obtained an OSHA 30 certification in Construction Safety and Health from ClickSafety. These certifications showcase their commitment to continuously improving their professional knowledge and staying current in their field.
