Maria D. Kowal MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Maria D. joined ONE Health Ohio in 2013 as a Pediatrician and later took on the roles of Medical Director, Director of Quality, and Chief Medical Officer. During their time at ONE Health Ohio, they focused on implementing and maintaining high-quality healthcare practices.

In addition, Maria has held positions at various universities. Maria D. served as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Ohio University, Kent State University, and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) since 2016.

Maria's professional journey began in 2002 at University Hospitals, where they worked as a Pediatrician until 2005. Following that, they co-founded Premier Care Pediatrics Inc in 2005.

In 2020, Maria enrolled in Youngstown State University, where they recently completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare.
