Emanuel Vergis

Emanuel Vergis is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in infectious diseases and HIV care. Currently serving as a Medical Doctor at One Medical since March 2018, Vergis previously held the position of Medical Director at AHF from December 2016 to February 2018, overseeing AIDS healthcare clinics in San Francisco and Oakland. As an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from July 2010 to November 2016, Vergis acted as program director for the infectious diseases fellowship and provided consulting in inpatient infectious diseases. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh from July 1999 to June 2007. Vergis holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology (1999), a Doctor of Medicine (1991), and a BA/BS in Chemistry and Russian (1979), all from the University of Pittsburgh.
