Joy Boutakov possesses extensive experience in psychiatric nursing and healthcare coordination, currently serving as a Missionary Care Team Member for One Mission Society since June 2021. Prior roles include Coordinator of Congregational Care Ministries at First Rowlett United Methodist Church, focusing on support for individuals experiencing trauma, and as a Psychiatric Case Manager at Sunrise Home Health Care Inc, enhancing care for homebound patients. Joy Boutakov's nursing career began in inpatient psychiatry at Baylor Scott & White Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center, where expertise was developed in managing diverse patient needs. An educator and counselor in Japan and Ecuador, Joy Boutakov’s academic background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.
