Brett Obrien

Brett OBrien is a seasoned RAN Design Engineer with extensive experience in network performance management and optimization. Currently serving at One New Zealand since April 2023 and at Vodafone New Zealand since January 2020, Brett has previously held significant roles at Huawei Technologies and MTN S.A, where responsibilities included worst cell analysis, monitoring KPIs, and optimizing 2G/3G/LTE networks. With earlier experience as a Senior Radio Engineer and Communications Technician at Telkom S.A., Brett has a comprehensive background in planning, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems, complemented by a National N6 Diploma in Electronics from Durban Technical College.
