Jason Novak

RAN Principal Engineer at One New Zealand

Jason Novak has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in Radio Access Network (RAN) engineering and design. Jason is currently working as a RAN Principal Engineer at One New Zealand. Before that, they worked at Vodafone for almost a decade, starting as a Radio Access Design Engineer and later transitioning to the role of RAN DevOps Engineer. During their time at Vodafone, Jason also worked on special projects, including government-level public safety initiatives. Prior to Vodafone, Jason worked at Telecom New Zealand as a Capacity Planning Engineer. Jason also has experience outside the telecommunications field, having worked as a Technical Director at Flat Roof Care Ltd, where they were responsible for electronic integrity testing and preparing detailed reports for customers. Jason's career in telecommunications began at Vodafone UK, where they served as a Senior Radio Design Engineer and played a key role in capacity management, integration, and the rollout of 2G and 3G networks.

Jason Novak attended Brunel University London from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering.
