Candice Brown

Manager, Content Operations at One on One

Candice Brown has extensive work experience, starting in 2009 as a Teacher at Belair School. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, first as the Head of Department - Humanities & Arts and later as the APSE Coordinator. In 2012, they also worked as an Assistant Examiner at the Caribbean Examinations Council. More recently, from 2020 onwards, they have been employed at One on One, initially as an Instructional Designer, then as a Senior Instructional Designer, and currently as the Head of Instructional Design.

Candice Brown holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of West Indies. Candice also has a Certificate in Virtual Instructional Leadership from the National College for Educational Leadership. In addition, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Training from the Vocational Training and Development Institute. Earlier in their education, Candice completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology and Demography from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. Candice has also obtained various certifications, including "Building Your Team," "Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers (Blinkist Summary)," "Agile Project Leadership," "Designing Scenario-Based Learning," "Foundations of Accessible Elearning," and "Why Projects Fail and How to Improve Their Success" from LinkedIn.
