Eric Archambeau

Eric is currently the Co-Founder of Astanor Ventures, a technology-focused impact investing firm, and a General Partner at Wellington Partners, a pan-European venture capital firm with focus on digital media and software, with offices in London, Palo Alto, Munich, and Zurich.

Eric has extensive technology experience and has spent over 25 years founding and investing in young technology companies. Prior to Wellington Partners, he was at Benchmark Capital and Atlas Venture. Before becoming a venture capitalist, Eric was a repeat entrepreneur in Silicon Valley where he co-founded several successful companies such as RightPoint Software (acquired by e.piphany), Trading Dynamics (acquired by Ariba) and eGroups (acquired by Yahoo!). Eric is also active in social investing. He is one of the founders of Social-Impact International, a social business accelerator which helps social entrepreneurs globally to increase their social impact and reach their full potential.

Eric holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MSME from University of California at Berkeley, a degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a PhD in Computer Science from Grenoble University.
