Mike Yaniero has an extensive career in public safety and law enforcement, currently serving as Board Chairman at One Place since October 2007 and Director of Public Safety in Jacksonville since October 2004. In addition, Mike holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Mount Olive since February 2007 and has been a CALEA Assessor since April 1994. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Police Chief in the City of Bristol, Tennessee, from February 1994 to October 2004, and as a Flight Medic with Virginia State Police Med Flight II from August 1984 to October 2004. Mike began in law enforcement at the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office as a Criminal Investigator Supervisor from January 1983 to February 1994. Mike Yaniero earned a Master of Arts in Criminology from East Tennessee State University between 1994 and 1998.
