Joel Gonzales pursued their education in design and visual communications. In 2015, they obtained a Diploma in Design from Western Sydney University. Joel further continued their studies at the same institution and completed their Bachelor of Visual Communication in Design and Visual Communications, General, from 2016 to 2019.
