Mario Hoessl-Neumann

Mario Hoessl-Neumann has a diverse work experience in the fields of law and academia. Mario began their career in 2014 as a PhD Researcher and Lecturer in Law at the University of Vienna, where they focused on Commercial and Business Law. Mario remained in this role until December 2018.

In 2019, Mario joined EY Law Austria – Pelzmann Gall Größ Rechtsanwälte GmbH as a (Senior) Associate in the Corporate/M&A and Capital Markets department. Mario held this position until December 2020 and later became an Of Counsel, specializing in the same areas of law, until September 2021.

Starting in January 2022, Mario worked at Bitpanda as the Head of Legal for Bitpanda Pro. Mario held this position until June 2023. Prior to this, they were a Legal Expert for Bitpanda Pro from October to December 2021.

Simultaneously, Mario joined the University of Vienna in March 2020 as a Reader in Law, focusing on Public Markets, Securities Regulation, and Corporate Governance. Mario later transitioned to the role of Assistant Professor for International Commercial and Business Law from January to June 2021.

Most recently, Mario joined One Trading in June 2023 as their General Counsel.

Overall, Mario has gained significant expertise in various legal roles, particularly in corporate law, capital markets, and business law.

Mario Hoessl-Neumann began their education journey in 2010 at the University of Vienna, where they pursued a Master's degree in Law. Mario successfully completed this program in 2014. In 2017, Mario had the opportunity to enhance their legal knowledge by attending Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen as a Visiting Scholar in the CME program for a year. Later, in 2018, they further expanded their legal expertise by participating as a Visiting Fellow in the TTLF program at Stanford Law School for a brief period. Mario's education culminated in 2019 when they earned a Doctor juris degree from the University of Vienna.
