Tour Ambassador Captain at One World Observatory

Emma Guest-Consales, Ph.D., currently serves as the Area Representative for North America, the Caribbean, and Oceania at the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA) since February 2024. With extensive experience in tourism and education, Emma has been a Tour Ambassador Captain at One World Observatory since May 2015, providing guests with detailed historical insights about New York City. Emma has been a member of the Guides Association of New York City (GANYC) since January 2011, where involvement includes chairing the IT Committee and serving on the Board. As the founder and principal guide of My New York City Tours, Emma offers personalized walking tours and custom virtual experiences. Additional roles include work as a Tour Guide and Tour Developer with Bowery Boys Walks, and various positions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since 1995. Emma holds a Ph.D. in Art History from Rutgers University and has degrees from New York University, Instituto per l'Arte e Restauro, and Smith College, showcasing a strong academic background in art history.
