Yuhan Zheng

Global Youth Council And Counselor at One Young World

Yuhan (Sicily) Zheng is currently serving as the Chair for Global Affairs at the Climate and Sustainability Subcommittee of IEEE Young Professionals, leading initiatives on climate action and sustainability. In parallel, Zheng holds the position of Co-Chair at the Young Working Group on Energy System under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, focusing on Just Transition. Additional roles include Peer Reviewer for Sustainable Cities and Society, Global Youth Council member for One Young World, and involvement in the UN Climate Change efforts, including contributing to the Global Stocktake under the Paris Agreement. Zheng's expertise is further recognized through invitations as a panel speaker at global forums and engagements with various organizations such as WAGA and the BRICS Youth Energy Agency. Zheng's academic background includes a summer program at École Polytechnique and ongoing doctoral studies at the University of Galway, complemented by degrees from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Chongqing University.
