Brian McGowan

Brian McGowan has a strong background in business development and environmental leadership. Brian has held various positions throughout their career, including Vice President of Central Region Business Development Director at Atlas starting in 2023. Previously, they served as Vice President of Business Development at TranSmart from 2019 onwards. In addition, McGowan has held roles such as Illinois Chapter Representative at the National Association of Environmental Professionals, Board of Directors at the Illinois Association of Environmental Professionals, and Committee Member at the MEA Energy Association (MEA). Earlier in their career, they held the positions of Environmental Project Manager II at Atwell, LLC and Vice President of Energy at Environmental Design International Inc. Brian also served as Vice President at Entech Sustainable Solutions and National Director of the Sustainable Practices Division at SET Environmental, Inc. Throughout their work experience, McGowan has demonstrated a strong aptitude for business development and strategic planning, as well as building and leading successful teams.

Brian McGowan attended Illinois State University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology.
