Thomas Rauschendorfer is a Process Development Engineer at OneD Battery Sciences since April 2023, specializing in the development and scale-up of Si Nanowire on Graphite technology for electric vehicle lithium-ion battery cells. Prior to this role, Thomas spent nearly nine years at Micron Technology, where Thomas held various positions, including Senior Metals Process Development Engineer, focusing on metallic thin films for advanced DRAM programs, and Senior Process Engineer in Technology Development's Diffusion/Implant area. Thomas began at Micron as an Associate Process Engineer and progressed through several roles, gaining extensive experience in film process development for DRAM, NAND, and emerging memory modules. Earlier, Thomas worked as a Student Researcher at the Ohuchi Research Group at the University of Washington, investigating the effects of processing conditions on superconducting materials. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master’s Degree in Materials Science from UCLA.
