Alex Acree

Alex is the founder and Managing Partner of the Takoma Group, a hybrid investment and advisory firm, and Partner at Mitchell Sandler, a financial services-focused law firm. Previously, he served as Managing Director and General Counsel at Fenway Summer Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Prior, Alex worked as a bank regulatory attorney at a global law firm and in senior positions at technology startups.

Alex has spent his career at the intersection of technology, finance, and law as an advisor, attorney, and investor in financial services & other regulated industries.

He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management, and a B.A. from Boston College.
