Ilya Cassina

Ilya Cassina has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Starting as a Student Assistant at EPFL - Poseidon Helpdesk, Ilya provided technical support to students and offered advice on laptop configurations. From 2008 to 2010, Ilya worked as a Freelance PHP/MySQL developer for a private employer. In 2010, Ilya served as a Webmaster at the Université de Neuchâtel - MAPS.

Ilya's career then progressed to becoming a Scala Developer at E-mmunizer SA from 2011 to 2012, where they worked on an e-commerce web platform. At Citiviz, Ilya played multiple roles, including that of a Citiviz co-founder from 2012 to 2015 and an Information Technology & Computers Manager from 2012 to 2016. As a manager, Ilya contributed to the development of fleet management software and led the extraction, cleaning, and analysis of Publibike data. Ilya also designed and built the developer's infrastructure.

In 2016, Ilya worked briefly as a Python expert consultant at Swissquote, where their responsibilities included software design, development, optimization, and documentation. From 2017 to 2020, Ilya worked as a Product Developer at XebiaLabs, before joining Onedot in 2020 as a Senior Scala Engineer.

Throughout their career, Ilya has gained expertise in languages such as Scala, Python, PHP, and Java, and has worked with various technologies and tools in software development.

Ilya Cassina has pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2002 to 2009. Later, in 2009, they attended Université de Neuchâtel to complete another Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specifically in the field of Computer Science.
