Chris is currently working as the Senior Director of Video Content at OneFootball, where they have successfully transformed the short-form video strategy for leading football clubs, resulting in a significant increase in monthly video views and revenue. Chris has also worked as the Head of Video Editorial and Consulting Editor at DUGOUT. Prior to that, they ran a self-employed sports reporting business, providing content for various renowned media outlets. Additionally, Chris has worked as a Sports Reporter for The Guardian and Daily Mail, and as a Website Content Manager for FOX Sports. Chris started their career at Johnston Press, where they held various roles, including Chief football writer and Chief football reporter. Throughout their career, Chris has conducted exclusive interviews with notable personalities in the sports industry.

Chris Young earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Newcastle University in 2004. In 2005, they completed a Master's Degree in Print Journalism from The University of Sheffield. Chris also obtained a Google UX Design Certificate from Google in 2023.
