David Buchanan

David Buchanan has over 30 years of experience as a software engineer. David began their career at Maximus in 1987 and worked there until 1989. David then joined General Dynamics Information Technology in 1989, where they served as a software engineer for over three decades until 2021. Currently, David holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at OneGlobe LLC, starting in October 2021.

David Buchanan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, completing their education from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include AWS Essentials and AWS Concepts from Linux Academy in June 2019 and May 2019 respectively. David also holds the Security+ certification from CompTIA, which they obtained in October 2021. Furthermore, David Buchanan is a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certified by Scrum Alliance® since May 2014.
