Claes Mikko Nilsen

Claes Mikko Nilsen is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and startup ecosystem, currently serving as Principal at NordicNinja VC since February 2019. Nilsen also holds the position of Board Observer at Onego Bio and has previously contributed as a Board Member for the Norwegian-Finnish Trade Association. Nilsen’s extensive background includes leading roles such as Managing Director of the Nordic Business Angel Network, where involvement included connecting over 10 Nordic and Baltic angel networks, and serving as Network Manager for the Finnish Business Angels Network, a co-founded initiative focused on encouraging private investments in high-growth companies. Nilsen's early career featured project management at Rastor Oy and advisory work at Boost Turku, complemented by a solid educational foundation with a Master's Degree in International Marketing from Åbo Akademi University.
