Karita Viita-aho

Karita Viita-aho began their work experience in 2008 as a Thesis Worker at the University of Helsinki. Karita then became a Research Assistant at the same institution from April 2008 to March 2009. From April 2009 to May 2010, Karita worked as a Research Assistant at VTT. Karita then transitioned to the role of Engineer at VTT and held that position from June 2010 to April 2019. Subsequently, Karita became a Research Engineer at VTT from April 2019 to April 2022. Currently, they are a Senior Research Engineer at Onego Bio, starting in May 2022.

Karita Viita-aho completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, studying from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they spent a year at Budapest University of Technology and Economics as an Erasmus student in 2006 and 2007, focusing on Bioengineering.
