Sonja Savin

Sonja Savin is an experienced Laboratory Technician currently employed at Onego Bio since March 2023, with previous extensive experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific from May 2011 to March 2023 as an R&D Laboratory Technician. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Sonja contributed to LC-MS product development projects, including sample preparation, analysis, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, as well as the management of laboratory operations and qualification documentation. Additional roles included microbiological culture processes, solution preparation, and oversight of laboratory quality control. Sonja also has a background in instrument assembly and PCR calibration from earlier positions, and began a career at Metsäntutkimuslaitos, focusing on virus RNA isolation and electrophoresis. Sonja holds a degree in Laboratory Technology from Helsingin tekniikan alan oppilaitos.
