Timothy Brown

Timothy Brown has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. Timothy began their career as an Intern at Lockheed Martin in 2012. In 2013 they were a Software Engineering Intern at LinkedIn, where they developed an admin tool using the Play Framework with Java and Dust templates along with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Timothy then returned to LinkedIn in 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer, working on a project to improve how LinkedIn communicates with its members. In 2016, they joined Sift Science as a Software Engineer, part of the Data Infrastructure team. In 2018, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Expanse, A Palo Alto Networks Company, where they worked on an internal tool and lead a project with the Data Science team. In 2020, they joined Palo Alto Networks as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and later a Principal Software Engineer. Timothy is currently a Data Engineer at Onehouse since 2022.

Timothy Brown obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 2010 and 2014. Timothy also obtained a Stanford Advanced Computer Security certification from Stanford University in March 2016. Additionally, they have obtained edX Honor Code Certificates for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark and Scalable Machine Learning.
