Marton Illes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marton started their career at Graphisoft as a web programmer and system administrator. Marton then worked at Lauder Javne School as an IT consultant before joining BalaBit IT Security. At BalaBit, they held multiple roles including IT Security Consultant, Product Architect/Manager, and eventually CTO. Marton then worked as a freelancer and consultant before joining Balabit, where they served as the Director of Products and the Director of Privileged Access Management Product. After that, they worked at One Identity and LogMeIn in senior product management roles. Currently, they are the Head of Development and Product Management at IoT Inspector.
Marton Illes completed their Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Science from Corvinus University of Budapest from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued IT Teacher studies at Eötvös Loránd University from 2001 to 2005. In 1999 to 2000, they studied Computer Science at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
