George Botye

George Botye has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and Linux system administration. George started their career as a Computer Programmer at SZUV from 1986 to 1991. Later, they worked at AITIA International Inc. as a Linux System Admin / Support Manager from 2005 to 2006, where they managed internet servers and provided support to clients. Then, they joined Hanwha Bank Hungary as an IT manager / Linux System Administrator from 2006 to 2014, where they took on IT Manager responsibilities and managed a team of 6 employees. George'sresponsibilities included managing hardware and software requests, handling internet and intranet issues, and administering IT systems.

After that, George worked at Mobivate as a Linux System Administrator in 2014, where they primarily focused on solving database issues and supporting migration procedures in an Amazon Web Services environment. George then joined Asergis Group in the same year as a Linux System Engineer and was responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and monitoring Linux and Windows systems.

In 2015, George joined AxiomSL as a Linux System Engineer and worked there until 2017. George'srole involved maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and providing virtual environments. George'sexperience includes working with ProxMox, VmWare, and various Linux technologies.

From 2017 to 2022, George worked at Lumeon Ltd as a DevOps Technical Lead, where they played a crucial role in managing the technical aspects of DevOps projects. During this time, they gained experience in DevOps methodologies and led a team in implementing DevOps practices.

Currently, George is a DevOps Engineer at OneMarketData, starting in November 2022.
