Alfonso Canedo

Alfonso Canedo has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alfonso started their career at Enron as a Project Development Manager. Alfonso then worked at Transredes S.A., where they held roles as a Marketing Manager and Tariffs & Rates Manager, responsible for marketing natural gas and crude oil pipeline capacity. Following this, they worked at Azurix Corp. as an International Regulatory Affairs Manager, managing relationships with international regulatory authorities.

After that, Canedo joined Gas TransBoliviano S.A., where they held multiple positions including Marketing Manager and Regulatory Affairs Manager for a 1 BCFD Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline. Later, they worked at G2 Partners LLC as the Director for Latin America & Caribbean - Pipeline Integrity Services.

Canedo then transitioned to IHI Corporation as a Director of Business Development, focusing on supporting clients in the Americas with various solutions in LNG, oil and gas processing, chemicals & polymers, refining, and power. Alfonso later moved to Universal Acoustic & Emission Technologies as the General Manager, responsible for developing market entry strategy and managing the business development team.

Most recently, Canedo worked at Matrix Service as the Director of Business Development, where they were responsible for developing and providing turnkey storage solutions for various downstream feedstock. Alfonso is currently working at ONEOK as the Director of International Business Development.

Alfonso Canedo has an educational background in economics and business administration. Alfonso completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics at the University of Kansas in 1992, followed by a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from the same university in 1995. In 2006, they pursued further education in business administration and obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MDP) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Throughout their career, Alfonso also attended various executive education programs and acquired certificates in fields such as international management, negotiation training, liberalization and open access in emerging natural gas markets, international gas contract negotiation, and finances, accounting, and control for oil and gas managers.
