Michael FitzGerald

Michael FitzGerald has over 20 years of work experience. Michael began their career in 2000 as a Design Engineer at SRAM Corporation, where they designed and manufactured bicycle components. In 2001, they took on a part-time Lecturer role at Waterford Institute of Technology. In 2002, they became a Senior Research Engineer at Bio-Medical Research Ltd. In 2004, they co-founded Cucoco Ltd, a failed venture for a consumer software products company. In 2007, they became the Business Owner of an eComm & Web app development company. In 2010, they founded OnePageCRM as the Founder & CEO. In 2014, they became a Co-founder of PorterShed, the first building to house start-ups and growing digital companies in Galway. Michael also became a Guest Lecturer at NUI Galway and a Board Member of Galway Technology Centre. In 2017, they became the Patron of EmployAbility Galway, a wonderful organisation that connects employers to people with disabilities.

Michael FitzGerald's education history includes completing an Executive Development Program at IESE Business School in 2022, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering at the University of Galway from 1996 to 1999, a period of Industrial Design study at the University of Limerick from 1995 to 1996, Electronics study at the Waterford Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992, and an iGAP Management Program for High Growth Internet Companies at Enterprise Ireland in 2011.
