Shawn Kim

Shawn Kim has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and consulting industries. From 1999 to 2000, Kim worked as an Associate at SRA, a CSRA company. In 2000, they joined TechSpan as a Consultant until 2001. From 2002 to 2006, Kim worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant. Shawn then joined Projility Inc. in 2006 and worked as a Manager until 2008. In 2008, Kim joined Microsoft as a Senior Consultant and held various roles, including Digital Advisor - IT Architecture & Planning and Senior Sales Specialist - Modern Work | Project | Business Intelligence, until 2023. Currently, they are a Senior Account Executive at OnePlan, where they started in March 2023.

Shawn Kim obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their undergraduate education, Shawn Kim has obtained several certifications in various fields. These include the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals from Microsoft in October 2020, the Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals from Microsoft in May 2020, the ITIL 4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2019, the PSM - Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in January 2019, the MCP - Managing Projects and Portfolios with Microsoft PPM from Microsoft in August 2017, the MCP - Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft in June 2015, the CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)² in December 2014, the ITIL v3 Foundation from EXIN in May 2011, the PMP from the Project Management Institute in July 2007, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2019.
