David Alexandre

David ALEXANDRE is a seasoned aerospace professional currently serving as a Research Engineer in Space Surveillance and Tracking at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since January 2023. Previously, David held the position of Ph.D. Candidate and Research Assistant at NASA from January 2018 to May 2021, focusing on atmospheric gravity-wave propagation and its effects on the Earth’s middle atmosphere, while contributing to various projects including the Virginia Cubsat Constellation. David's earlier experience includes roles at Airbus Group as a Master Apprentice and Design Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed quality management and the integration of advanced engine concepts. David holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Mechanical Engineering from Centrale Nantes.
