René Mathurin

René Mathurin is currently the Directeur Défense at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, a position they have held since 2020. They previously served as a Directeur technique at OCCAR from 2015 to 2020 and held various roles at DGA, including Architecte système and Directeur de programme d’armement, between 2001 and 2006. René also worked as a Chargé de cours at Université Paris Descartes from 1994 to 2001 and had an international research stint as a Chercheur invité at the University of California, Davis. They hold a Doctorat from Université Paris Dauphine-PSL and completed several defense-related programs, including at ESCP Business School and the European Security and Defence College.
