Eric Carcanague

Eric Carcanague is a seasoned purchasing professional with extensive experience in defense and aerospace industries. Currently serving as Directeur Département Achats Défense at Safran since November 2021, Eric previously held senior purchasing roles at Messier Bugatti and Zodiac Aerospace, where significant contributions included the structuring of purchasing organizations and the establishment of key positions like Contract Manager and Supplier Performance Management. Eric's career began at Thales, where essential achievements in sourcing were made for computer equipment and electronic subcontracting. Educated with a Master's degree in Purchasing and Contract Management from Grenoble IAE, Eric has also contributed to academia as a professor at INSA Centre Val de Loire since 2004.
