Thierry Fusco

Thierry Fusco is a distinguished expert in adaptive optics for astronomy, serving as the Science Deputy Director and Research Director at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since August 2001. In this role, Thierry leads projects such as SAXO and RASCASSE, focusing on advancements in adaptive optics for future giant telescopes within the NAIADE research program. Thierry has also held roles as a researcher at the laboratory d'astrophysique de Marseille since November 2011 and previously worked at the Observatoire de Paris as a research engineer. Thierry's academic background includes a thesis in optical instrumentation for astronomy and a master's degree in astronomy and astrophysics from Université Côte d'Azur.
