Yann Vallat

Yann Vallat is a research engineer in aeroelasticity at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since June 2023. Previously, Yann worked as a Design and R&D Engineer at CVA Group, where responsibilities included conducting aerodynamic and aerothermic simulations for Safran Helicopter Engines and Safran Aircraft Engines from July 2022 to May 2023. Between January 2021 and June 2022, Yann contributed to innovative projects in Exploration Production at Total, focusing on training programs, external partnerships, and budget management. Prior experience includes an internship at Safran Helicopter Engines in turbomachinery design, an internship in casting CFD at PSA Group, and voluntary work at organic farms. Yann holds an Engineering Diploma with a specialty in Energetics, Thermodynamics, Heat Science, and Fluid Mechanics from ENSGTI, complemented by preparatory classes and a Baccalauréat in Mathematics.
