Sandeep Gupta

Sandeep Gupta is a board observer at OneSeventeen Media, PBC, since January 2020. Previously, Sandeep was the founding partner, president, and CTO at Calavista from November 2001 to May 2019, where Sandeep secured over $30 million in new business and developed marketing and sales strategies. Sandeep's earlier roles include development manager at Aviri, senior project manager at Trilogy, and graduate research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on parallel and distributed operating systems. Sandeep also served as a teaching assistant and research assistant during the time at Rice University, contributing to the Human Genome Project and other initiatives. Sandeep holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cognitive Sciences, and Computer Science from Rice University.
