Shahzad Hussain

Shahzad Hussain has a diverse background in technology, with experience in various roles and companies. Shahzad currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at OneStream Live since 2017. Previously, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Elisa Automate from September 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, Shahzad held the role of Senior Developer at Ericsson for six years, where they focused on fixing bugs, developed web-based network speech recognition, and worked on the core signaling system. Shahzad also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Teleca, where they worked on multiple projects in Maemo, including bug fixing and integration engineering. Shahzad worked as a Software Engineer at Tieto, where they fixed bugs, developed internal projects using GUPnP and QT frameworks, and worked on Maemo Relay. Shahzad also served as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, working on projects related to DVB transmission optimization and vertical handover between DVB-H and Wi-Fi networks. Shahzad Hussain earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Iqra University, where they studied data communication and microprocessors from 2001 to 2004. Shahzad then pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology at Tampere University of Technology from 2006 to 2013, specializing in digital transmission, RNP, and next-generation networking. Additionally, Shahzad Hussain obtained certifications in Microeconomics Principles from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign via Coursera, and in Project Management from Coursera Verified Certificates. Shahzad also acquired a certification in OSE troubleshooting in CPP environment from ENEA.
