Victor Pascual Cid has an extensive work experience in the field of data visualization, teaching, and consultancy. Victor is currently the Co-founder and Chief Visualization Officer at OneTandem, where they lead the creative direction and ensures that client projects meet industry standards. Victor is also a Coordinator and Lecturer at ISDI, where they teach and designs the syllabus for the "Data Visualization" module in the Master in Data Analytics program. Additionally, they have created an online course on Domestika titled "Introduction to Data Visualization" and has worked as a Freelance Data Analyst and Visualization Consultant. Victor has also held lecturing positions at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Barcelona Technology School, and La Salle Campus Barcelona. Victor has expertise in Tableau and various web technologies for creating interactive visualizations and storytelling.
Victor Pascual Cid completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 1999-2003. Victor then pursued a PhD in Computer Science and Digital Communication at the same university, specializing in Information Visualization, Data Analysis, Usability, and Human-Computer Interaction, which they completed in 2005-2010.
