Candela Romero Gomez

Candela Romero Gomez has over 19 years of experience in various roles within the field of Human Resources. Candela is currently working as the Director of Global People Services at OneTrust since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of People Operations at GEOSat (Omnidea Group) from November 2019 to September 2022. From November 2015 to May 2019, Candela served as the Director of Global People Operations at I Journey Solutions. Before that, they worked at Diamond Resorts® in various HR roles, including Director of Global TA & Human Resources Europe from August 2009 to November 2015, Human Resources Manager Europe - Sales and Marketing BU from June 2008 to August 2009, Human Resources Manager Spain from April 2005 to March 2008, and Human Resources Ops Team Lead from June 2003 to April 2005.

Candela Romero Gomez completed their undergraduate studies in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1999 to 2002. Candela then pursued further education in the same field at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 2002 to 2005. In addition, they obtained a specialization in Human Resources Management and Services, specifically in Política Retributiva, from the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes in 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Professional Certification in Labour Laws and Employment Compliance India at the Indian Academy of Law and Management, with an expected completion year of 2023. Candela has also obtained additional certifications, including the "Certified Labour Law and Employment Compliance Practitioner India" from the IALM-Indian Academy of Law & Management and is a member of the Asociación Española de Directores de Recursos Humanos (AEDRH).
