Colleen Vanderlinden

Colleen Vanderlinden has a long and varied work experience in writing and editing. Colleen began their career in 2005 as the Owner/Writer/Editor of Colleen Vanderlinden Writing & Editing, where they have been editing articles, blog posts, poetry chapbooks, novellas, and novels in several genres. In 2008, they became the Guide to Organic Gardening for About.com (now The Spruce). In 2009, they began working as a Garden Blogger for The Detroit News and a Writer for Discovery Communications' PlanetGreen.com. In 2011, they began writing for TreeHugger.com. In 2018, they worked as a Website and Content Evaluator for Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. In 2021, they became a Staff Writer for LoveToKnow Media and a Features Editor and Features Writer for Static Media's House Digest. Finally, in 2022, they were hired as an SEO/Content Marketing Project Manager for Oneupweb.

Colleen Vanderlinden completed their B.A. in English from Wayne State University between 1995 and 2001. Additionally, they attended the University of Detroit Mercy between 1997 and 1998. Colleen has also obtained several certifications in the digital marketing field, including Advanced Google Analytics, Google Analytics for Beginners, Competitive Analysis and Keyword Research, Content-Led SEO, Keyword Research, and Content Marketing and SEO Fundamentals from the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) and Semrush in May 2022 and April 2022, respectively.
