Joel Ponce

Joel Ponce has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at OneValley. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2018, they were a Software Developer at ReliaMax. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer at both UCSF and Slow Ventures. Before entering the software industry, Joel worked at Whitman College Residence Life from 2013 to 2015, where they served as a Resident Assistant (RA) and Student Academic Adviser. Joel also has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as a Communications and Programming Intern at Path with Art in 2015. Additionally, Joel has previous internship experience as a Public Relations Intern at Breakthrough Silicon Valley in 2014, and as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Silicon Valley in 2013. In 2013 and 2014, they were the GROW Coordinator at GlobeMed, where they led the planning and preparation for an international internship and facilitated communication between various stakeholders.
