Valerie also worked in communications management at Legal Aid Ontario and held a role in resource planning and management at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

Valerie began their career as a start-up owner and operator at Student Works Painting, gaining experience in business development and operations. Valerie also worked as a ski instructor at Camp Fortune Ski Club.
