Jiarui Zhao

Jiarui (Jaray) Zhao currently serves as the Director of Legal at OneVest, a position held since March 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel at TouchBistro from October 2020 to March 2025, and Associate Lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright from September 2017 to October 2020, where Jiarui also completed an articling position. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in International and European Business Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III). Involvement in various legal and academic organizations includes serving as Co-President of the Asia Law Society and as a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services. Jiarui holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from the University of Toronto and previously studied Event Management at Sun Yat-sen University.
