Professor Sujal R Desai M.D. Frcp Frcr

Professor Sujal R Desai MD FRCP FRCR is a Consultant Radiologist at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals since July 2017 and serves as a Professor of Practice in Thoracic Imaging at Imperial College London since September 2018. Additionally, since November 2021, Professor Desai has been a Specialist Committee Member for the Diagnostic Advisory Committee at NICE, focusing on AI-derived software for chest CT analysis. As a Co-Founder and Clinical Director of DMC Radiology Reporting since June 2013, Professor Desai contributes to one of the leading teleradiology companies in the UK. Prior experience includes a role as Consultant Radiologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from May 1999 to July 2017. Professor Desai holds an MBBS degree from UCL, obtained between 1982 and 1987, following education at Archbishop Tenison's Grammar School.
