Nicholas Melfi

Nicholas Melfi has extensive experience in finance and strategy roles within the aviation industry. Nicholas started their career at Textron Industrial Products as an Internal Audit Intern before joining Ernst & Young as an Auditor. Melfi then worked at Textron for several years in various financial controller roles, including responsibilities for accounting operations and financial management at Textron Pacific Ltd. Nicholas later served as the Director of Finance at David Brown Santasalo, leading the financial accounting department. Melfi then transitioned to the aviation industry, working at Qantas in roles such as Finance Manager for Aircraft Commercial Projects and Commercial Manager for Ground Handling. After Qantas, they joined Perth Airport as the Manager of Business Transformation. Melfi then became the General Manager of Finance and Strategy at Queensland Airports Limited, overseeing the finance and strategy functions for a portfolio of four airports. Nicholas is currently the Vice President of Finance at oneworld Alliance.

Nicholas Melfi completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Providence College from 1996 to 2000. From 2017 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Aviation Management at UNSW, specializing in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations.
