Luis Simão has a diverse work experience, starting as a Contact Center Agent at EDP in 2009. Luis then worked as a Human Resources Trainee at Adecco Portugal before joining CETELEM PORTUGAL as a Commercial Assistant (Junior). Luis later became a Commercial Assistant at BNP Paribas Personal Finance and then moved to Galp Energia as a Back Office Assistant. In 2015, they joined Deloitte Portugal as an Audit Manager. Currently, Luis is working at Oney as the Head of Internal Audit.
Luis Simão completed their Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration at Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas from 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in International Management (English taught) at ISCTE Business School, which they finished in the years 2013-2017. During their Master's studies, they also participated in a Master Programme in Business Administration (IMB) with a focus on Innovation Management at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics in 2015. Additionally, they engaged in further education in finance through a course on Financial Analysis and Decision Making from edX in 2014. Before entering their Master's studies, Luis was associated with the Academia Portuguesa de Seguros (Portuguese Insurance Association) in 2013. Although they attended Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2011-2012, the specific degree and field of study for this period are not provided.
