Ahmed Najeeb

Ahmed Najeeb's work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Onica by Rackspace Technology, where they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Cloud Engineer at the same company from December 2020 until September 2022.

Before joining Onica, Ahmed served as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Queue Outsourcing from April 2019 to November 2020. In this role, they built a successful team of software engineers and provided training and mentorship to junior engineers. Ahmed collaborated with business analysts and development teams to deliver high availability solutions for critical applications. Prior to that, Ahmed worked as a Linux System Administrator at Queue Outsourcing from April 2018 to March 2019. During this time, they were involved in designing and implementing network infrastructure, configuring data center infrastructure, and maintaining secure connections between different locations.

Ahmed also has experience as a self-employed Software Engineer from January 2016 to March 2018. Before that, they worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at Swarftools from February 2012 to November 2015. Ahmed began their career as a CNC Machining Applications Engineer at DIS - Dormer from July 2009 to December 2011 and worked as a Maintenance Engineer at ETCO - Canon Egypt from February 2008 to June 2009.

Ahmed Najeeb attended Akhbar ElYom Academy and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. Ahmed later obtained additional certifications, including being an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from AWS in September 2021.
