Matt Walker

Matt Walker has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Matt is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Onica, where they specialize in all things AWS. Prior to this, they worked at Capital One as a Senior Cloud Engineer, focusing on cloud infrastructure. Matt also had a role at Capital One as a SOX Compliance Automation specialist. Before joining Capital One, Matt worked at Pizza Hut as a Senior System Engineer. Earlier in their career, they worked at Yum! Brands as a Senior System Engineer, where they implemented and maintained Unix system monitoring software, developed high availability software, and automated system processes. Matt'scareer started at Hewlett-Packard, where they worked as a Hardware Technician and Junior Unix Administrator, overseeing server compliance and performing data center relocation.

Matt Walker obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including ITIL v3 Foundation from CSME Inc in January 2011, AIX Certified Specialist from IBM in October 2002, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services in December 2018, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in November 2018, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in June 2017.
