Steve Auerbach

Steve Auerbach started their career in 1988 at International Data Corporation (IDC) as a Global Account Sales Rep and Director, where they significantly grew the syndicated IT market research and consulting business within large enterprise accounts. Steve then joined Gartner Group as a Dataquest Sales Specialist, responsible for new business development and selling IT market research and consulting services to technology vendors.

From 1999 to 2008, Steve worked as the Founder/President/Owner/Sales & Marketing for three SMB startup companies, including Agire Mortgage Corp and EdgeMac. During this time, they established a wholesale mortgage banking business and directed marketing and business development efforts.

Steve later joined iSuppli as the SW Region Sales Manager and successfully renewed and grew existing accounts while adding new customers. Steve then served as the Vice President of Sales - Western Region at iModerate, where they conducted qualitative market research through one-on-one online conversations.

In 2009, Steve joined Gartner as a Senior Account Executive, responsible for Higher Education, K12, and Academic Medical Centers. Steve consistently achieved sales success and received several awards for their performance.

From 2012 to 2016, Steve worked as a Strategic Accounts Sales representative at Peak Hosting, where they sold complex managed hosting and private cloud environments to tech-focused companies. Steve developed a sales strategy to target high-growth potential tech startups.

In 2016, Steve became the SoCal Director of Business Development at Taos, an infrastructure consulting and managed service provider. Steve'srole focused on helping customers improve employee productivity, deliver stability for critical systems, and rapidly deploy new technologies.

Most recently, Steve worked at Onica as an Enterprise Sales Executive, specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Steve helped clients enable, operate, and innovate in the cloud across various areas, including cloud migrations, big data, and AI.

In 2020, Steve unfortunately passed away, leaving a legacy of expertise and accomplishments in the technology and consulting industries.
