Jason G.

Jason G. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jason started their career as an IT & Administrative Support at the Group Training Association of Victoria from 2008 to 2010. Jason then worked as a Data Manager at OMNILINK from 2012 to 2013 and at the Department of Education and Training, Victoria from 2014 to 2015, where they were responsible for managing data and performing quality assurance checks. Jason continued their professional journey as a Graphic Designer at the Eastern Football League in 2018 and again in 2022.

In 2016, they joined La Trobe University as a PhD Researcher, where they conducted research on various topics, including EBV in Burkitt's lymphoma and the molecular mechanisms of immune cell death in sepsis. Jason also had the opportunity to test new compounds as potential therapeutics for heart failure and stroke. Additionally, during their time as a PhD student, they managed lab resources, made reagents, and taught biochemistry as a Masters Biochemistry Workshop Demonstrator.

Most recently, Jason worked at oNKo-innate Pty Ltd as a Scientist II from September 2020 to August 2021 and as a Senior Scientist I from August 2021 to the present.

Jason G. started their education at La Trobe University in 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree with a focus on Biomedical Sciences, General. Jason continued their studies at Bangor University from 2013 to 2014 and obtained another Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree. In 2015, Jason returned to La Trobe University to complete their Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry. Lastly, from 2016 to 2020, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry at La Trobe University.
