Richard Tugwell

Richard Tugwell serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Pfida since November 2023, while also advising OnLadder in its innovative lending initiatives since January 2022. Previously, Richard held a series of leadership roles including Director of Mortgage Distribution at Vida Homeloans, Group Intermediary Relationship Director at Together, and Commercial Director at Capital Home Loans. A veteran in the finance and mortgage sectors, Richard has extensive experience leading intermediary relationships at Virgin Money and held director positions with the Mortgage Trading Exchange and the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association. Richard began the career in sales at Northern Rock, showcasing a strong background in strategy, management, and market insight throughout the professional journey. Richard's foundational education was completed at Eastlea School from 1976 to 1982.
